Hire Dynamics is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Purchasing Coordinator job in Fort Mill, SC. This is a temp to hire opportunity. As a Purchasing Coordinator you will be responsible for maintaining proper inventory control to support production requirements, ordering raw materials and packaging supplies as needed from pre-approved vendors and maintaining the system with current pricing, lead times and minimums for all raw materials. Responsibilities for this Purchasing Coordinator job include:

  • Order raw materials and packaging as needed for customer orders.

  • Work with vendors for deliveries in a timely manner.

  • Work with our logistics company to ensure all shipments have been scheduled for pickup by the carrier as needed.

  • Check freight prices on freight inbound manifests and update in the system as required.

  • Responsible for issuing purchase orders for contracted companies.

  • Issue purchase orders, receiving reports for IT, Maintaining CIT spreadsheet and.



  • Computer knowledge and data entry.

  • Preferred 2 Year Degree.

  • Have experience in procurement of all Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Plant Supplies, Lab Supplies and Equipment.

  • Good written and verbal skills.

  • Food Safety knowledge.
