Human Resources Manager
Hire Dynamics is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Human Resources Manager job in Rock Hill, SC. This is a direct hire opportunity. As a Human Resources Manager, you will be required and expected to manage compensation, benefits administration, recognition, training, performance management and employee relations in a manner that retains staff members long-term and builds employer brand. Must have experience with Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Communication Processes, Compensation and Wage Structure, Supports Diversity, Classifying Employees, Employment Law and Laws Against Sexual Harassment.
Responsibilities for a Human Resources Manager job include:
Knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices and talent acquisition, and the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
5+ years HR experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Labor Relations or Business
Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources Information Systems.
Knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices and talent acquisition, and the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law
Strong union knowledge a PLUS
Must have a take charge attitude and be self sufficient in all Human Resources and Business Relations
Some travel is required and must be willing to work in warehouse environment at times.
This position is full time hours: (Permanent Placement)
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Salary - long hours when required)
Salary: $60k -
