Hire Dynamics is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Human Resources Assistant job in Burlington, NC. As a Human Resources Assistant you will be responsible for administrative functions, assisting with payroll time keeping and payroll processing. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications below.

Responsibilities for this Human Resources Assistant job include:

  • Establish and maintain department records and reports

  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services performed

  • Respond to applicant inquires in-person, over the phone and via email

  • Respond to various information requests from governmental agencies, such as unemployment, in a timely manner

  • Record and maintain data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, supervisory reports on performance, change of statuses, and dates of and reasons for terminations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 4 years of Human Resources experience

  • Strong initiative, positive attitude, and receptiveness to feedback and coaching

  • Organized, detail and process oriented, and a time management superstar

  • Can be trusted to use discretion and knows when it’s necessary

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in an Office Assistant/Administrator position

  • Ability to maintain empathy while keeping appropriate peer relationships

  • Comfortable interacting with clients and vendors in person and on the phone

  • Willing to take on any task, big or small, leaving ego at the door and always ready to help any member of the staff with any challenge or idea

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision required

  • Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a busy environment

  • Ability to work within timeframe of standard policies and procedures

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information

  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential

  • Exhibit extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our team

 

Monday- Friday 8am - 5pm
Pay, DOE $15.00
